How Can I Become An Agent Of Change, Asks Johan Bouwer

Some time ago I posted a question on how someone can be involved as a ambassador/spokesman/agent of change call it what you want.

I still am convinced that there are many companies who for some reason does not have a program on HIV/AIDS and that the workers are not informed regarding their rights . On the farms in South Africa there is wide spread discrimination and workers rights are not explained to them. I often wonder if there is any organisation who has done any research on persons who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS on farms.

I still cannot believe that there are no one in society who has the moral ability to ask for help and information. This includes companies. Trade unions, Churches ECT . How many innocent people must die and how many children must leave school to look after a sister or brother because nobody cares ?

I suggest maybe you contact Johan and find out what he can do to help you. not only personally, but how he can help you to bring change in your township ( as discussed in another thread). Part of his frustration is that HE is a resource, and he feels that he is not being used. Please tell him I sent you. Maybe he will even be able to help youto connect with people who are HIV positive in your community.
