Profile Information

What are your areas of interest in terms of social development?
South Africa as a whole
Do you volunteer in your community?
Yes
What do you want to talk about on the Kwanda forums?
All aspects of human life with more emphisis on issues and behavior which is regarded as immoral by old people, I would like to focus on regeneratign the morals of young South Africans.
Tell us about the community where you live
I am from a well developed community, where un-employment is an issue, as in all communities, but education, though we have a good education system, is something young people just don't pay attention to. I live in a society where going to an initiation school is like going to an initiation school for criminals. In my society, Teen-pregnancy is not something suprisizing, in fact, if I didn't know better I would say if someone riched the age of 20 and has no child. its a blessing from God, if a person riched Grade 10 whilst still a virgin, that is a miracle. I love my community, but I think if one wanted to see what I mean when I say the youth of today is morally regenerated, one would have to come to my community to expirience it first hand. And the fact that SAB is in Potchefstroom is just not helping the situation.
What do you want to learn from the members of the Kwanda social network?
How do I go about initiating a project that will work towards changing this situation?
What stories do you want to share with the members of the Kwanda social network?
anything that concerns the youth
Do you have access to skills, knowledge & networks through your paid or volunteer work?
Yes, I am a student at the North-West University, and this works to my advantage
