How we can assist existing structures become more sustainable, - training them how to better organize themselves; how they can deal with leadership and conflict resoltion
Tell us about the community where you live
Inner City suburb of Johannesburg, Berea. High density community with a lot of overcrowded flats. Unemployment amongst the youth quite high and young people migrating for other parts odf South Africa. There are lots of dxecay but also a lot of potential for rejuvenation. Lots of social probelsm, substance abuse, crime and HIV/AIDS. It is a fully mixed and integrated suburb.
