Hi Damaria
I deserve all the bitting for responding late and I am very sorry for that. I was off sick just after coming back from launching a youth development programme in Manaileng, Zebediela (Limpompo). What I basically do is to try and co-ordinate a youth programme in this small area. I had a christmas party for underprevilaged kids in 2008 tha's when their smiles changed the way I look at those who are still in the dark. All I want to do Damaria is to hold up my burning candle and hope they will be able to light their candles. (Don't they say a candle won't be deam by lighting another?)
On Saturday the 7th of November I met with the youth, we discussed their needs and areas of concern. To make it short, when I left people who will represent the community were elected and I left it up to them to elect the chairperson and so on. The challenge I have now is being in Jo'burg and them that side communication is a strain. I want to see the project becoming a success with all my heart.
Lastly December the 1st being the national AIDS day I wanted the group to organise something for the weekend of the 5th any ideas from he community?

hi Damaria i am sorry that i responded late however im highly over the moon to be one of your members.im disappointed though because there are so many impoverished communities in urban areas.i would like to be advised on how to source funds for the initiated projects, like clean-up campaign, but also our policies states it clearly that they are suppose to start something out of their means and thereafter assist them in terms of buying the equipment for them.
